The Portrait Session
Let's walk through the steps of a portrait session from booking to receiving the gallery
Step 01
Fill out the Inquiry Form
To begin your custom portrait experience, simply send an inquiry. Once I receive your details such as your vision, preferred location, and dates, I’ll carefully review your needs and follow up to schedule an introduction.
Step 02
Portrait Planning Meeting
I’ll follow up by email to schedule a call where we can talk about your vision and what you’re hoping for in your session. During that conversation, we’ll walk through the details and discuss the investment so everything is clear and perfectly suited to you.
Step 03
Book your session
Once everything is in place, your session is officially reserved with a signed contract and deposit. At that point, you’re fully booked on my calendar and all that’s left is to enjoy the experience.
Step 04
Portrait Day!
I arrive on location early to scout the setting and design the perfect shots. When you arrive, we’ll spend a few moments easing in and fine-tuning the details before we begin. From there, the focus is simply on enjoying the experience as I guide you through every step. You can relax and be fully present—I’ll take care of the rest while we create images you’ll love.
Step 05
Gallery Presentation
After your session, I will carefully retouch your images and curate a personalized gallery. We will then schedule a time to review your photographs together and I’ll guide you through selecting your favorites, as well as the albums and custom artwork you’d like created. Once your selections are finalized, I’ll complete the final retouches and send your order into production. We’ll meet again when I deliver your heirloom artwork.
